MT Tape is good stuff

We have some  lovely new designs of MT Washi paper tape in the shop and thought we would share a few ideas of what you could do with this wonderful product, other than stare at adoringly or throw up in the air and let them rain on you like $100 bills! (ouch)

Create mini buntings, make your own wall decals, pretty up vase's or bottles for flowers

Stick up photo's, kid's art, prints or dried flowers on wall's without damaging your paint

Make flagging for cake toppers or to stick in pot plants or new seedlings

Wrap your presents beautifully, make gift tags or invitations, jazz up school projects and spiffy up your scrapbooks

Label preserves, use by dates for freezing food, drinking glasses at parties

There are heaps of ideas on the Internet, we were pinning like mad on Pinterest!

We also have a video to share from a MT tape workshop in Japan with blogger Hello Sandwich, would loved to have been there!

Orange you glad?

Five fast facts about orange, you may find useful:

1.Orange is the name of a town in NSW (they grow apple's there)
2.Orange is Annie's favourite colour
3.Wearing orange during times of stress, or shock can help to balance your emotions.
4.It is said that the colour orange increases your cravings for food.
5.We thought no words rhymed with orange, that is until we found this post. Our fave is floorange – an orange that has been dropped on the ground, but before the 5 second rule has expired!

A little birdie told me......

Last week we received a lovely crafty package from Tonia Gretschmann the designer behind The Paper Shed.
It was a sweet little fat sparrow sewing kit, which Annie whipped up that afternoon - we knew we had to have these little kits in Fine & Sunny and contacted Tonia to send some up from Tassie toot sweet.

We would like to introduce you to......

The sweet babushka
